As per February Club meeting; members are asked to check their contact details by accessing the spreadsheet holding members details. This will require you to log on to the secure area of the site; if you don't know the password, please ask a club committee member. There is a link on the secure page to the members database. When you have checked the information, please advise John Lewis of any changes.

Club championship - additional info

You will notice that we have selected the Langdale Xmas pudding races on the 11th & 12th Dec. The idea is that club members can choose which date suits them. Finishing times for both races are to be used to calculate point allocations.

Gosforth 10k and 10m events added to championship.

The summer runs will move to the first Tuesday of the month (instead of the last) to avoid clashes with other events and improve the lighting on the last run. These will start Tuesday 4th May (Rannerdale Knott to see the bluebells - should be better at the start of the month!) and run through to Tuesday 7th September at Fangs Brow with St. Bees, Cockermouth and Maryport in between. BOOK THEM IN YOUR DIARIES - NOW!

Further to last week's decision to re-affiliate to UKA it seems that due to "rules and regulations" we cannot re-affiliate until next year.

In the meantime Craig suggests members offer the affiliated entry fee at races however, if forced to pay the additional levy, contact our treasurer, John Lewis, who will reimburse the fee paid.
